BC Sailing is offering a Mobile Optimist Sailing School (MOSS) that travels to over a dozen selected communities throughout the province each summer. The purpose of the program is to build the sailing and recreation boating culture in BC by providing affordable, safe, and fun summer day-camps for youth with fun and educational activities both on and off the water.
There are two programs offered:
- Summer Camps: 5 days of sailing and kayaking activities for kids aged 6 - 15 throughout July and August (age range varies depending on location)
- School program: Introductory sailing programs for school classes Kindergarten through Grade 6 in May and June. If your class is not participating, find out how to get involved!
